Jeanne Donado has more than forty years’ nonprofit leadership experience in the arts, education, healthcare, community organizing, and economic development, currently serving as the Grants Development Coordinator at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan. With a focus on grant work, organizational readiness, and strategic planning, she strives to develop and maintain a well-crafted grant culture within a well-functioning organization that seeks, receives, and uses grant funds to advance the greater good. Jeanne has served on the Grant Professionals Association’s (GPA) Professional Education Committee for many years, including as Chair, and was a co-founder of their DEI committee.

In 2020 she received GPA’s Presidents Award for her contributions to the organization and the field. Jeanne was among the first cohort to earn Grant Professional Certification (GPC) and has since participated in psychometric and standard setting reviews of exam content. For many years she served as adjunct faculty in composition and workplace communication at both two- and four-year institutions, and has consulted with small, community-based organizations to be grant ready. As an active member of Lansing’s Red Cedar Friends Meeting (Quakers), Jeanne is deeply committed to recognizing “that of God in everyone” and practicing the Quaker Testimonies of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship
