Successful Launch
The recent launch of the Empowerment Institute for Michigan marked more than the beginning of a new organization. It represented a growing movement focused on leadership, transformation, wellness, and intentional community building.
In a recent feature by Sonia Noel published in Kaieteur News, the launch brought together facilitators, leaders, and participants from different backgrounds and regions around a shared commitment to growth and purpose.
The article highlights the Institute’s mission of helping leaders and organizations grow through love, self-awareness, and intentional leadership development. The launch also celebrated the Joy at Work programme and introduced Empowerment Through Fashion: Winning from the Inside, a transformational initiative focused on confidence, identity, and inner alignment.
Leaders including Dale Dan, Dr. Bailey, and LaTonya Demps shared the importance of building healthier leaders, workplaces, and communities through purpose-driven work.
One of the strongest themes throughout the launch was the belief that true transformation begins internally before it is ever expressed outwardly.

Empowerment Through Fashion
This fall, the Institute will offer a 6-week transformational experience, guiding individuals through an exploration of who they are and how they want to show up in the world, building confidence from the inside out. Participants may choose either a core values-based or faith-based pathway and connect in peer groups with career professionals, high school students, and college students. All are welcome!
